EB Awareness Week (Oct 25 - Nov 1)

This EB Awareness Week, we’re proud to partner with Tony & Mark’s to raise funds for EB Research Partnership Australia. With the support of our guests and their customers, we’re contributing to research towards better treatments for people living with EB.

From Sunday October 25th to Sunday November 1st, Fugazzi is proud to partner with Tony & Mark’s in support of EB Awareness Week, raising funds for EB Research Partnership Australia and offering the chance to win a $500 Fugazzi dining experience.

Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a group of rare genetic conditions that affect the skin and can have a significant impact on everyday life. Its severity varies, but for many people, managing EB involves extensive daily care, specialist treatment and ongoing support from family and carers. Around 1,500 Australians live with EB, across all ages.

There is currently no cure for EB, making continued investment in research essential. EB Research Partnership Australia invests in research aimed at improving those outcomes, including work happening right here in Adelaide. Its funding model reinvests any financial returns from the research it supports into further projects, helping sustain the search for better treatments.

To contribute to this work, Fugazzi will donate $1 for every gnocco fritto and mortadella sando sold during the campaign, while Tony & Mark’s will also donate $1 for every dozen Light River Eggs 700g sold in-store.

Customers who purchase a carton of Light River Eggs 700g dozen eggs at Tony & Mark’s can scan the QR code at checkout and submit their details to enter the draw for a $500 Fugazzi dining experience. The winner will be announced the following week and contacted by email.

We’re grateful to Tony & Mark’s, EB Research Partnership Australia and everyone who takes part and thank you for helping us support this important research and the people whose lives it aims to improve.
